What is Good Landlords?

Good Landlords is a UK platform where tenants can read and leave verified reviews of landlords and letting agents. Reviews are submitted through single-use invite links, so every rating comes from a real tenant.

Do I need an account to leave a review?

No. If your landlord sends you a Good Landlords review link, you can open it on your phone and submit your ratings without creating an account or signing in.

How does the single-use link protect me?

Each link is generated for one tenant and can only be used once. This stops fake reviews and means we do not need to collect your name or email to verify that you are a real tenant.

What categories will I rate?

You will give 1–5 stars for Communication & Responsiveness, Repairs & Maintenance, Property Condition, Deposit Handling, Legal Compliance, Fairness of Charges & Rent Increases, Respect for Privacy, Professionalism & Conduct, and Value for Money. You will also answer whether you would rent from the landlord again.

What are the review expectations?

Reviews should be honest, based on your own tenancy experience, and written in a respectful tone. We filter for profanity and abuse, and reviews can be flagged for moderation if they appear false, defamatory or inappropriate.

Can I edit my review after I submit it?

No. Once a review is submitted, the invite link is spent and the review cannot be edited. This protects the integrity of the rating. If you made a genuine mistake, you can ask your landlord for a new invite link and submit a fresh review.

What happens if my review is flagged or hidden?

Flagged reviews are hidden from public view while an admin checks them. If your review is approved, it becomes visible again. If it breaks our content rules, it may stay hidden. We will not publish your identity at any point.

We never publish your name, email or any identifying details. However, because the link is sent to one specific tenant, your landlord may be able to infer who wrote the review — especially if they only send one link at a time or label it with your name. This is the anonymity trade-off of the single-use invite model. If you are uncomfortable with that possibility, you should not submit a review.

Add an optional written review

Explain your experience if you want to. Written reviews are filtered for abuse and can be flagged for moderation.

Submit and the link is spent

Once you submit, the link is permanently used. Revisiting it will show 'This review link has already been used'.

We believe you should understand the limits of anonymity before you submit a review.

This is the trade-off that lets us verify every review comes from a real tenant without asking for accounts, documents or identity checks. If you are not comfortable with that possibility, you should not submit a review.
